Class passes
Attach a monthly price to a recurring class series — members subscribe from the class page and are recognized at check-in.
Class passes
A class pass is a monthly subscription attached to a recurring class series. Members and guests subscribe right from the class page — "Get the class pass" with your price — and payments run through your organization's own Stripe account, like everything else on Mybers. Class passes work on every plan; the only requirement is a connected Stripe account.
Passes vs packs
A class pass is a recurring monthly subscription to one class series — unlimited attendance while it's active, billed automatically. A class pack is a prepaid bundle of credits ("10 classes for $150") that a member spends one at a time across any class. Different features; you can run either, both, or neither. Class packs show up for orgs whose type is Gym or studio (Settings → General → Type of organization).
Create one
- Open the recurring class series and go to its edit page.
- In the Class pass panel, set the monthly price and enable the pass.
- The class page now shows the subscribe button to members and guests.
Check-in
Pass holders are recognized at check-in automatically — QR or front desk — with no card to scan and nothing to look up. If someone's pass has lapsed, check-in shows it.
Fees
Mybers takes a flat 2% on class-pass revenue — no per-member fees, no hardware, no percentage games. This is program revenue and is priced separately from dues, which stay at a flat 1% on the self-serve plans. Your Stripe processing rate applies as usual.
Cancellation
Members can cancel anytime through Stripe; the pass stays active until the end of the paid period. No lock-in on either side. See Cancelling a class pass for what you and the front desk see afterwards.
Tip
On Pro, pair a class pass with the class's evergreen QR code — the QR on the wall opens the class page in your app, and the class page is where people subscribe.
