Moving from Novi, GrowthZone, iMIS and other tools
Export your list as a CSV and upload it; Mybers reads the usual headings from AMS, volunteer and donor tools.
Which tools
Novi, GrowthZone, iMIS, YourMembership and StarChapter (membership systems), VolunteerHub, Better Impact, Volgistics and SignUpGenius (volunteer tools), and Keela and Giveffect (donor CRMs) each have a page under Settings → Integrations and on the Import page. Any other tool works the same way with the plain CSV import.
How
- Export your member, volunteer or contact list from the tool as CSV.
- Open the tool's page in Mybers and upload the file.
- Check a few profiles. Import again any time: people are matched by email and updated, never duplicated.
Headings Mybers understands
- Names: First Name and Last Name, or a single Name column (split on the last space, or "Lee, Ann").
- Email: Email, Email Address, Primary Email and similar.
- Level: Level, Member Type, Membership Type, Membership. Levels that don't exist yet are created.
- Dates: Member Since, Join Date, Paid Thru, Expiration Date, Renewal Date.
- Status: Active and Current become active; Lapsed, Expired, Inactive and Non-member become lapsed; Terminated and Dropped become cancelled; Prospect and Applicant become pending.
Volunteer tools tag everyone in the file Volunteer. Rows without a valid email are skipped and counted.
