One statement per donor per year, sent in January, with cash and check gifts included.
Donors need a written record of their gifts for their taxes. Payments → Giving statements builds one statement per donor for the year, ready to send in January.
What's included

- Cash and check gifts you record by hand, so the statement is complete.
- Gifts from connected fundraising tools, unless you chose to leave them out.
Good to know
- In the US, any single gift of $250 or more needs a written acknowledgment, which the statement covers.
- Churches can switch on wording that fits religious organizations.
- Download all statements as a CSV for your records or your accountant.
