Post events to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X
Each event you publish is announced once on the social accounts you connect.
What gets posted
When you publish an event, each connected account gets one post: the event's title, its date and time in your organization's time zone, and a link to the event page where people sign up. Publishing the same event again never posts it twice.
Each account
- Facebook: a post on your Page with the link. Needs the Page ID and a Page access token.
- Instagram: your chosen JPEG image with the details in the caption (Instagram captions can't hold clickable links). Needs a Business or Creator account linked to your Facebook Page; it uses the Facebook integration's token.
- LinkedIn: a post on your Company Page with the link. Needs LinkedIn's Community Management API approval for your app.
- X: a post kept under 280 characters. Needs an X developer app with Read and Write access; X sets how many posts each API plan allows a month.
Turning it off
Open the integration and switch off Event published under Triggers. Drafts are never posted, and cancelling an event doesn't delete a post that's already up.
